Beaton also wrote about them in his diaries, which over 50 years filled more than 150 manuscript volumes. Beaton moves with graceful ease among the greatest artists and social lions of his time. He was obviously a welcome guest and his 'Diaries' describe his encounters with a fabulous variety of personalities. Beautiful book

Came on time, great condition. Well written and I enjoyed it very much. I bought his 2nd book but have not yet gotten to it. Just the topic that I love and he was a fine and witty writer. Talented person all around.
