About the Author
Crockett Johnson was born in New York and spent his childhood on Long Island. He acquired his art education at New York University and at Cooper Union.
For many years the author and illustrator of the popular comic strip Barnaby, Mr. Johnson also illustrated many wonderful children's books, including Ruth Krauss's The Carrot Seed. He is perhaps best remembered for his own slyly engaging books about a small boy named Harold and his journeys with a purple crayon.

Muy buena version en espanol

Esta traduccion esta bien hecha. El espanol fluye con naturalidad tanto como el original en ingles. A mi hijo le encanta y yo feliz de tener otro buen libro en nuestro idioma.
This is a great translation of a wonderful book. I highly recommend this version to anyone who is raising a bilingual child like we are and is looking for a good book in Spanish.

While it is noice to have, as an English speaking limited Spanish reader, the vocabulary here is on the upper end of being able to read it smoothly.
